Cam Scott delivered a strong start for the Carl Sandburg College baseball team, but Heartland held the Chargers to just two hits in an 11-1 loss on Tuesday night at the Corn Crib.

Chargers starter Cam Scott (Mapleton, Ill./Illini Bluffs) turned in five solid innings, holding the Hawks to three runs (two earned) on six hits. Scott fanned three and didn’t issue a walk while throwing 46 of 59 pitches for strikes.
